The approach is essentially pragmatic in technique and in theoretical outlook. The approach tries to establish the ideas and the therapeutic interventions, not on what is “customary”, “logical” or “right”, but on direct observation of what is happening in systems of human interaction; how they continue to function in the same ways and how they can be altered in an efficient way and to achieve change. Brief- therapy, solution-oriented approach avoids the question “Why?” because it diverts attention from direct observation to unnecessary motives and assumptions that have a crucial role in insight .According to the approach believe, most changes take place without any prior insight.
